Athirudhram 2012 - Deferred
After a review of the number of registrations and ensuing logistical requirements, Sri Sivan Temple has informed Sabha that the Temple will have some constraints in getting Athi Rudram event organised in time. Hence they wish to defer it for a suitable, convenient date in future.
It is, no doubt, a disappointing development for Sabha; however looking positively, the time delay provides an opportunity for more of our members to learn Sri Rudram, Chamakam and Mahanyasam. Thus, registration in much greater numbers can be anticipated at the rescheduled event, reducing the dependency factor and easing up the logistical needs.
Sabha records its appreciation for the members who have registered for the event and regrets any inconvenience caused due to rescheduling. Sabha looks forward to their sustained enthusiasm for registration and participation when the new dates are announced for Athi Rudram.

Cricket Carnival 2011
The competitive spirit on the field, starting with the unique team names and festive atmosphere off the field gave the impression that the World Cup or should we say, IPL, was brought to Singapore. The poster competition added to the colour and demonstrated the creative skills of our members. The Family Carnival also saw enthusiastic participation from both the young and old. Our roving cameraman has captured some of the interesting moments of CC 2011 and uploaded them in the Sabha website. The MC conveys its appreciation to the team members, the spectators and volun- teers for making this event a grand success.
The organizers hope to see the same or even higher participation in this annual event, which will be on Good Friday, 6th April 2012. MARK YOUR CALENDARS
